Frequently Asked Questions

Our fees are determined by the services for which you choose to engage us and by the scope of your project as we are led to understand it through our initial conversations with you. Our agreement with you will spell out the fees charged and the schedule for payment. The final product will not be delivered until all fees have been paid.

We take copyright very seriously. As a part of our services, we will file the copyright application for you. Whereas your book will be published under our imprint, you will be the sole copyright owner. We claim no rights to your book or publication. 

If, while editing an author's work, we find plagiarized material, we will notify the author immediately and offer them an opportunity to remove or rewrite the material. However, if we deem the use of plagiarized material extensive and/or egregious, we reserve the right to terminate our agreement with the author. We will never "copy and paste" material into anything we ghostwrite. We will never include copyrighted material in anything we ghostwrite.

Emphatically and unequivocally, "No!" In our view, the use of AI to generate what claims to be original copy is only slightly less egregious than plagiarism. As writers, we view AI as akin to a condemned prisoner constructing the device that will be used to execute him. Beyond that, our objective, in ghostwriting in particular, is to capture the subject-author's authentic human voice. AI is incapable of doing that. When we ghostwrite your project, we will spend hours in interviews with you. We will read letters, emails, all types of primary source material. We will look through dozens of family photos, and ask hundreds of questions, to reveal the little-known details of your life. AI cannot do that, so AI cannot produce an authentic telling of your life story.

Yes. Upon completion of your project, and after all fees have been paid, we will forward all the digital files associated with your project. These might include cover design files, interior design files, eBook files, etc. We will retain copies of your files but only for the purpose of replacing those we give you in the event they are lost.

Yes. Most of the books we publish under our imprint are available as eBooks, and some are available as audiobooks. The decision as to whether to offer your book in multiple formats is entirely yours.
